Soho Desert House returns – here’s what went down

From the DJs to the food, drinks and vibes, we take a look back at all the highlights of our three-day pop-up

With weekend one of Coachella wrapped, there’s much to discuss. Frank Ocean’s return to live music, Labrinth surprising the crowd with Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny and Blackpink’s show-stopping sets, and much more. While Coachella is typically reserved for huge crowds, energetic acts and loud music, Soho Desert House brings a different vibe: think health and wellness, nourishing food and a calmer energy. Only a few miles away from the festival site, Soho Desert House returned for its second year, providing the perfect antidote to the chaos of the festival – and what a time it was.
Palm trees, green grass and a crystal-clear lake created the ultimate backdrop, with world-famous Nike trainers leading daily classes and workshops. These were followed by Sakara Life detox protein super bars and ice-cold Evian hydration or a flavoured La Croix water for post-workout refuels to start each day.
Throughout the weekend, members and friends roamed the grounds, with a glass of RUMOR rosé in hand, as well as enjoying Soho Desert House signature grilled lobster and Chicas Tacos, and dancing to our favourite DJs.
Here’s what else went down, including all the ‘had to be there’ moments from the three days.

Day one
On Friday, New York-based DJs kicked off the weekend with Everyday People and Odalys taking over to set the perfect vibe. The air sizzled with the scent of barbecue and grilled pineapple as festival-clad guests rolled in for a strong start in the valley. We celebrated 50 years of hip-hop with Statik Selektah and MICK, and consumed more Cecconi’s pizzas than we’re proud of.

Day two
The Calibrate IV cabana brought partygoers back to life on Saturday with vitamin shots and hydrating IVs, while Miami-based DJs Peachfuzz, El Perreo and Favela Worldwide set a tropical mood. Post-IV, Ilegal Mezcal provided speciality cocktails – we love a little detox re-tox.
